Kushners Publisher Pal Lost WH Spot After Harassment Probe

Ken Kurson– the friend of Jared Kushner who was used a seat on a prominent federal arts body by the Trump White House– lost the post after the FBI began digging into harassment claims versus him. The New York City Times reports that Kurson was used a seat this spring on the board of the National Endowment for the Humanities, which provides grants to cultural organizations. As part of a background check, the FBI exposed accusations that he bugged a New York doctor in 2015. In March, The Atlantic released a short article by Deborah Copaken, a reporter who implicated him of discussing her breasts as she was searching for a task. Copaken stated the FBI interviewed her in early June as part of its background check of Kurson, around the exact same time representatives got in touch with the medical facility and its staff members. Kurson stated in an interview recently that he withdrew from factor to consider for the post in early June, mentioning the quantity of documents associated with the vetting procedure. Recently, the White House revealed Trump’s candidates to the endowment’s board. Kurson isn’t really on the list.
