75,000 people call on Congress to ban on facial recognition tech

Activists on Monday provided petitions to members of Congress requiring a straight-out restriction on federal government usage of facial acknowledgment innovation.

The petitions were provided to the workplaces of Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)– the chairwoman and ranking member of your home Committee on Oversight and Reform.
